  Great vibes, great beer, great food. Got a flight with the bartender's recommendations; favorites were the Steelhead and Slammin Salmon. Neighbor at the bar ordered sweet potato fries, and they were the best I've ever had! A great stop not too far off the 101.

  Awesome brewery to visit. The selection, quality and prices of all of their beers is the best in Humboldt. As a visitor from Sacramento and an avid patron of the craft brew scene, I was totally impressed with what they had to offer. The live music was fun and upbeat, the brewery staff was very helpful and accommodating and the patrons were friendly. Next time I'm traveling through the North Coast I will make a point of visit Mad River. CHEERS!
